Clafoutis is a traditional French dessert baked with fruit, traditionally black cherries, arranged in a buttered dish and covered with a thick flan-like batter. The clafoutis is dusted with powdered sugar and served lukewarm, sometimes with cream or ice cream.
San Diego Personal Chef Yoann Taboyan creates his clafoutis with cherries. The buttery, warm flavor
melts in your mouth.
